Dream Weaving

The past few weeks I have been having the most vivid dreams! I woke up today from another one of these wild dreams. There are many theories regarding dreams, and I am a strong believer in the messages within our dreams. They all began the week before I left when I woke up in a panic from an intense dream involving a drug heist. I wrote down the most prominent parts, objects, colors, numbers and themes within the dream to refer back to Pegs dream book by Betty Bethards. The dream involved lots of money ($1 & $5 bills), including large silver suitcases filled with $100 bills, me driving the get-away car with 7 other people, and lots of police officers. When I read the book, I was shocked to discover how positive the dream was!

Money: means changes are coming into your life, if dollar bills, big changes.

Silver: spiritual protection; light, truth.

Drive: to drive & be in the driver’s seat is to be in control of your life

Vehicle: you; your mode of self-expression and operation. How large the vehicle determines degree to which you are actualizing potential.

1: New beginnings; 5: change taking place now or very soon; 7: mystical number marking beginnings and endings

Police: Help is available; guidance.

Later that week I had another vehicle dream. This time my mother was driving a bus and I was running along side it heading in the same direction.

All of these dreams were perfect, seeing as I was leaving for Steamboat soon. They reaffirmed that I was heading in the right direction with all the changes happening in my life. Once I got to Steamboat, I started having more dreams. The first day Pegs and I started working on the cookbook I had a dream the next morning about “marriage” & in the book marriage symbolizes a unity of people and ideas.

The day I finished updating my blog I woke up having had a dream about “birth”, which symbolizes an opening of new direction or possibilities. Ummm, kiiiinda Perfect!!

With everything going on in my life and helping Pegs, it was fun being spiritually reassured that everything was in accordance to my life! All I can say is pay attention to yours dreams! :)

The Rest of the Day:

After this past week, Pegs and I have finally created a solid routine. MWF’s are our gym days, and T/TH’s we do yoga in the morning before some outdoor activity. Then work on the book in the afternoon.

Today after our yoga set, we went on a bike ride with Kathy. We rode down to pick her up at her office, which is just a few blocks away from our house. Then we rode the bike path until it ended into the Yampa (the river).

Kathy is by far the most refreshing person I have had the chance to spend time with in a long time! Her enthusiasm for life and everything pertaining to it is contagious and I can only hope to exude her positivity.

We sat next to our bikes by the river for some time before it was decided we should all head back to work.

Pegs and I went home and made even more progress with the book! I typed up some pages as she continued to edit her introductory passage. After a couple hours of work, Robin pleasantly surprised us at our door and stayed for a 5 o’clock beer.

For dinner we made Chicken and Bell Pepper Fajitas with a Summer squash and Onion hash. After we ate, Kathy (who had bible study at her friends house down the street) came by and shared some hilarious stories with us about her past and her kids growing up. I just love all the time we get to spend with her… kind of like how tomorrow we get to hike with her too!!
